Is it possible for your body to push out a lip piercing?

I’ve noticed the inside of my lip where I pierced it, the hole is now closer to my bottom lip. I’m not sure why this is..I was wondering if was possible for your body to push out a lip piercing..I know it can happen with belly rings cause I had that pierced before and it fell out..Any suggestions?

Its possible for lip piercings to reject, but its highly unlikely.

However, it is common for lip piercings to migrate upwards a millimeter or so from the original piercing site. Most piercers will cheat the piercing down a tiny bit for this reason, so the jewelry eventually will sit where you want it to.
