Dancing with a piercing?

I really want a belly ring. I take dance school next year (as an optional subject, instead of PE) and I wonder if this could be … I do not know, tear or something? I do not dance for a while. We do ballet, modern and jazz and I am a species of concern. My birthday is in November and I want my navel pierced, but I have to wait until the last week of school (when school is the suspension of final exams)? Any help is appreciated!

I am a dancer and I have my navel pierced. I can just try it but I wear actions and tests. It hurt a little the first two weeks, when we wore very long and everything, but it's like nothing else and get used to.

Don’t take a ‘course’.

No reputable business will hire you if you just did one of those. You don’t learn nearly enough. They’re way too short, even for alot of the basics, and super expensive too.

You need to apprentice under a experienced piercer.

You need years to learn this, not weeks.
In 8 weeks you can barely learn sterile fields and autoclave procedures, and that would be pretty intense.
But the most important thing about apprenticing is you get to learn how a shop runs, get to talk to customers etc. How to set-up, clean up, and fill out paperwork.
Stabbing people is the simplest part by far.
