body piercing career

piercing career? (20 characters ..)?
What is the average body piercing in one month?
Probably not much.
Body Piercer as a career?
I am 18 years old, I was in college for a short time and realised I am not happy in school.
I am interested in being a Body Piercer.
I know you have to complete an apprenticeship and CPR, Blood classes etc.
But is it hard to make a career just Piercing fulltime? What could you expect as pay(in $).
And another thing where does someone learn how to do Body Mod like “scarring, implants, etc” I know not all Piercers do that.
Any info helpful
First off, you don’t need any of those classes or CPR to be a piercer. You learn the trade in like, less than a week. You go in a shop and ask if they need a piercer and bam, you know it in no time.
Second, piercing is not a career. Okay so say, the shop you work at charges 30 dollars a piercing, the shop gets half of that automatically. So now you have 15 dollars/piercing. Imagine how many people really come in daily to get one.Yeah, not many.
As far as the scarring, i imagine all it takes is some apprenticeship.
An option you could do, if you arent interested in being a tattoo artist, but being in the environment, would be to become the piercer. Stay for a couple years and learn as much as you can about the business. After that, open your own tattoo shop. Hire people to work for you.
