The Worst Things to Do with your Eyes Closed
Just to put it out there, you have to be pretty dumb to attempt any of these things with your eyes shut. Let’s just get right into it.
- Driving. It doesn’t matter if you drive an old beater that’s older than you or if you have a brand new BMW with the fanciest BMW Wheels, this will end up causing an accident and if you’re not careful, costing you your life.
- Sports. The only sport I can see doing with your eyes closed is Pin the Tale on the Donkey and even that can be dangerous.
- Operating machinery. Whether it’s a heavy duty forklift or a mini stapler, someone can get seriously injured.
- Jumping out of an airplane. Yes it sounds silly but some sky divers are so scared on their first jump that they leave the plane with eyes closed. This is not good cause you need to gauge your distance for safety. You don’t want to pull that string too early or God forbid, too late.
- Crossing the street. I know blind people can do it safely but you are not properly trained.
- Cooking. You definitely don’t want to burn your hands, start a fire, or put way too much paprika in, Yowza!
- Watching TV. What’s the point? If you’re dozing off press power and save some energy.
- Sending out emails. You don’t want to send out an email that accidentally says “Tank you very much” do you?
- Climbing stairs. You may feel coordinated but it’s not recommended for all the clumsy folk.
- Shooting an arrow. You are not cupid, it will not safely land in the heart of your soul mate.
- Going on Facebook. How the hell will you see all your friends’ new photos?
- Trying on clothes. You need to know if you look like a heifer or not before the big ball.
- In a Port-A-Potty. Um, It’s more like plug your nose and keep your eyes peeled. You want to avoid nasty residue at all costs.
- Getting drunk with a stranger. Are you just waiting to wake up in a tub full of ice to find your kidney stolen from inside of you?
- Piercing your own body. You don’t want to end up with an oddly placed piercing do you?
- Using a tattoo gun. That’s just stupid!
