I have an ear cartilage piercing is lonely and I looking for drilling Superman to go and can not find. I prefer 16G, have no desire to go big, you can consider a smaller size

What’s the difference between different cartilage earrings?

B) For the second type of earrings, what gauge would be preferable for a first time cartilage piercer? And what does it mean by 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″..etc?
I’d be getting my ears pierced at a professional salon, not someplace like Claire’s.
First off thank you for going to a professional to get it done.
Depending on your piercer they will pierce it with a horseshoe or a cbr.
Sometimes you can ask for a specific one. The one you have in the second picture is a horseshoe.
Most of the time they will use a 16g unless you ask otherwise.
The 1/4 and such refers to the length of the jewelry.
