I am a Christian young man and I want my ears pierced some people tell me yes and some say it is a sin?

Well, if you do well, you can. In Exodus 9:05 p.m. ET 6 says: 5 And if the slave says, I love my lord, my wife and my children, I do not go out free: 6then his master must take him before the judges. Ok, Leviticus tells us not to tattoo our bodies or cut them for the dead… so, that COULD be interpretted as not piercing (ie cutting)… However, in Exodus (21:5-6) it talks about slaves declaring they love their masters, and subsequently the master will pierce their ear with an awl… What’s more, if you think about it, “He was pierced for our transgressions…”-if body piercing saved our lives, it’s hard to really say…
Now if it’s done for a specific reason-like tongue piercings are, then I’d say she’s being insinuitive, which isn’t ok… but as far as acutal piercings, that’s one of those issues I think God will convict a person individually of. You had her childhood years to instruct her, now is when she has freeodm to choose what to do with that instruction.
God tells us that if we raise our children in the way they should go, when they are old they won’t depart from it-trust in that promise. And overall, if she does get pierced, remember, a belly button ring won’t keep her out of Heaven-it’s not like an airport that you have to remove all metal before passing through the entrance… God accepts us as we are and fixes our messed up areas, if they are in fact messed up.
As long as she loves Jesus, over time, He’ll work out what HE doesn’t like, and leaves the rest to be purified for His good will…
