What is the legal age for body piercing in California with parental consent?
JW I am very confused because I PPL said a few and 16 others said 12, 13 and 14 so I am very confused about it lol
Most rooms do not pierce anyone 16 years even with parental consent clarification in confusion: Some piercers do not care about your age and if they enter, but no person under twelve years. Most rooms, however, that you are aged 16 or over, because you're still growing and is not considered as mature enough to care until it is over 15. You can get all the piercings in his ear under 16, because ears are not considered a big problem compared with a pierced navel, navel piercings because surface piercings and are very vulnerable to infection if not handled properly. No. The reason for this is that you are not an adult in the US until you are 18 years old, and all tattoo/piercing places require you to sign off that you understand the risks involved. Those under age 18 cannot legally sign such documents because (legally, and only legally in some cases) they are too stupid or immature to handle the decision that they are making. (Of course, the minute you turn 18, you are mature enough.)
Basically, if someone under 18 gets tattooed or pierced, their parents can sue the location. Some states do allow 16 year olds to get pierced with a parent’s permission and signature. You can always call your local tattoo/piercing place to find out the laws about this, and I’m sure www.about.com has the information as well.
