african body piercings

I want my septum pierced, but I'm afraid of how you will heal!?
Hello, although I like the way piercings septum look, if it is stretched or left early! Well, I had four holes in my life: a naval force, both ear lobes, and cartilage on my left side. I naval forces had nearly 4 years and has healed well, a little too much care to the exit. My cartilage piercing i have had since about the second year and has a "keloid" in it. Idk if she is really good, because if it is darker than it will not be further from the exit point and not very visible. also believes that the left side of my body overheal Law and will enterance. I know it's a risk and a doctor told me not to have facial piercings, but I love them anyway! Would you like a bad idea? oh, I'm black, by the way, like chocolate complexion: D
It * never * a keloid, probably only slightly hypertrophic scars may be removed by the use of salt sea absorbs heat packs as long as you have a good piercer who can pierce the wall (be surprised how boring many are convinced that you should push straight through the cartilage and totally screw up) and drill the "sweet spot" it'll heal with brilliance then do a little research and found a great drill. Just look for your location or ask reccomendations on BME http://community.livejournal.com/piercing/ (5000 people in this community, there will be someone who can help)
How do I deal with my close minded family…?
My dad’s side of the family is extremely difficult to get along with. For me anyway, ya know? They’re the type of people who judge you, talk nasty about you behind your back, and then are fake-nice to your face.
It shouldn’t really matter, but they’re African american. I myself and biracial, and I’m really into body modifications. I have a couple of piercings and gauged ears, whatever. They strongly believe that black people shouldn’t do things like that…
Anyway, every time I’m forced to be around them they make snide remarks that never cease to piss me off. How do I deal with them without offending them or embarrassing my dad? I’d like to cuss them out and walk away, but that’s not really an option, clearly.
Is your dad okay with it? If so I’d tell your dad and see if he can have a talk with them. If that doesn’t work then I’d just limit your time with the people in your life that cause you grief. You are who you are no matter what they like or think about it. Keep being you! If they don’t like it then that is their problem not yours.
