My nine year old daughter acts a bit old for her age, but I am told is just a phase?

I wonder if anyone has experienced this kind situation. My daughter, age 9, came later that evening at home with a pierced navel. I have not given permission to do so. I’m not sure whether it is a culture or subculture, or probably just an act of certain culture. Just want to know where it belongs to. Thank you for your informations.

Within America, its considered a subculture, being that a subculture exists within the confines of a larger, homogeneous community. There are norms and laws all Americans generally live by and that is our shared culture. Body piercers do their practices within that shared culture and is therefore a sub-culture.
